Reconnecting an Expired Social Account

What to do when a connected account shows as disconnected.

Social platforms expire the access they grant to apps from time to time. When that happens, the account shows as Disconnected in Social Media Connections.

How to fix it

1. Open Social Media Connections from the sidebar.
2. Find the account and click Connect.
3. Sign in to the platform and approve the permissions again.

Your scheduled posts for that account resume automatically once it is connected again.

Why does this happen? Each platform decides how long a connection stays valid. Some expire after about 60 days, others as soon as you change your password. Reconnecting takes less than a minute.
